Janet Zimmerman is a home-school mom.

She wrote: "This CU should be of great interest to home school educators for its emphasis on cross curricular activities. In addition to exercising traditional reading comprehension, vocabulary and writing skills, the students will expand their critical thinking abilities by applying aspects of the literature to hone their social studies, geography, science, math and internet research skills."
